Ingredients
1 and 1/3 cups Mighty Sesame Co. Tahini (about 1 bottle)
1 tsp. vanilla bean paste
1 cup + 2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 cup of water
Pinch of salt
Directions
- Mix the tahini with the vanilla bean paste and salt; set aside in a bowl.
- In a pot, bring the water and sugar to a boil, stirring occasionally. Heat to 150°F on a candy thermometer.
- Once the temperature reaches 150°F, slowly pour the syrup into the tahini mixture and stir just until it comes together, about 30 seconds. Do not over-mix.
- Pour into a 9x5-inch parchment-lined loaf pan.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Cut into squares or bars.
